You can imagine my excitement when I woke today to discover that we have been voted one of Britain's loveliest B&Bs by House & Garden magazine.

We don't allow Blue Monday at College Farm, and have renamed it BREW MONDAY, mainly because one of my greatest pleasures in making cups of tea for everyone round the kitchen table

We are celebrating Christmas this year with the birth of our grandchild

Party season is here and our Cattle Shed has been the perfect spot for celebrating this year. We've hosted christenings, weddings & funeral wakes, as well as several milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

Autumn has well and truly arrived. The weather has turned colder and the leaves are slowly turning.

Our new cosy one bedroom cottage, The End Shed, is nearly ready. The builders have finished and we are now sourcing furniture, crockery, art work, etc, as well as landscaping the garden. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready for you to come and stay.

Spring is in the air and there's a spring in my step!

2024 has probably been the wettest year ever!

Where do I begin except to say that 2022 will go down as the best year of my life!

The arrival of spring marks the arrival of the wedding season at College Farm. After the last two years it wonderful to be able to host weddings again in their full glory.

Christmas is coming and the goose isn't the only thing getting fat. I've been trying out lots of new recipes and have been getting very fat testing them, all in the name of quality control of course! It's a hard job recipe testing, but somebody has to do it!

We have added some new features that we hope will make the website easier to navigate – including a new online booking tool. We hope this will make it simpler to see when we have rooms available and book straightaway.
