As I write this, it's mid-June, the sun is shining and the washing line is full of lovely white sheets blowing in a gentle breeze. It sounds idyllic and is how I would normally describe June in Norfolk - except for this year. We have never known so much rain to fall constantly, our ponds have never been fuller and our car park has never been wetter. Where is summer?!

Despite the weather our spirits have not been dampened by the endless rain and cold wind and our wedding couples so far have adapted to whatever the weather has thrown at them. Our first two weddings had to make a rush inside at the last minute as the rain defeated all chance of getting married outside, but the last two weddings did manage to hold their ceremonies outside, even if we had to keep our coats on.

Let's hope the sun stays out for a bit and we can all enjoy a Indian summer.
