and of course there's always cake - how can you drink tea (or coffee) without cake?! Surely the best way to banish the blues in January (or any time of the year) is to enjoy tea & cake with good friends. I'm always experimenting with new recipes so I can offer our guests delicious cake when they arrive. I was lucky enough to get some new cookery books for Christmas and I can't wait to start baking and sharing the results with our guests. I wonder which cake I will make when we open again in February?
